COO Visits Orange River Mine
On Tuesday, 31 December 2024, Namdeb COO Jurgen Jacob visited the Orange River Mine (ORM) for an operational oversight. During his visit, Jurgen announced the retirement of Charlton Kurz, the Operations Manager of ORM, who served Namdeb for 37 years with remarkable dedication and leadership. Charlton’s last working day was 31 December 2024. Jurgen further announced that Shaun Markowitz will assume full responsibilities for ORM operations in his current role.
